On Wednesday our rescue team will arrive at our kennel, Lily's Haven, and with them will be a precious little poodle named Bob Marley.
We don't know much about Little Bob's history, but we believe he was once a puppy mill breeder boy. He was found dumped in very poor condition with heavy mats, one completely covered an eye that caused an infection. He learned to get around fine on his one bad back leg that has been x-rayed and requires surgery to alleviate his pain.
He was found by shelter workers at a Waynesville, Missouri shelter and they just couldn't stand to see him put down and asked for our help. He is a sweet boy, maybe only 3-4 years old, but the shelter does not have the funding to perform the FHO – Femoral Head Osteotomy. So, we agreed to take little Bob and give him a chance at a forever home. The gals at the shelter have babied him for almost a month now, getting him ready to come to Colorado so he can get well and find his forever home. One lady in particular will undoubtedly have a hard time letting go of him, but she knows this is his best chance.
Just another reminder that rescue work is heartwarming, heartbreaking, selfless and tireless and worth every moment of it!

Im sure this is a long shot but if the lady who will have a hard time parting with him can give him a good home, maybe we can fundraise for his medical and adoption fees and he can be spoiled by her forever?
